Chase turns 2!!!!

It's hard to believe that my litte Chase turned 2 on Jan. 28th! It really has gone way too fast! He is such a spitfire! He hates to have his diaper changed, absolutely will not take medicine unless you pin him down, and hates to have his teeth brushed! Even though he can be so difficult at times, his fun loving personality makes up for all the stubborness he has!! We celebrated his big day with a winter wonderland party! The party was a blast and Chase loved every second of being the center of attention!!

A Long Overdue Trip!!

Way back in 7th grade in Lincoln, NE, I met a very dear friend of mine! We moved 3 short years later but Kelly and I's freindship remained close. We rarely saw each other over the course of the next 20 years, but when we did, our friendship just picked right up where it left off! When we were younger we always said we would be in each others weddings... and we were! Kelly, you mean the world to me and I am SOOOOOO glad I finally got to meet your 3 beautiful kids. We had such an awesome weekend with you guys! Cant wait to have you visit us in IL sometime!

The last day we were there, we headed to a game/pizza place. (an upscale chucky cheese!) We had the whole place to ourselves! The kids had a blast!

The weekend before Jeff's birthday, Jeff was in Mexico for a wedding. So with the boys and I home alone and bored....we headed to the dollar store to pick out some decorations for Daddy's birthday. The boys were pretty excited about having a party!

Christmas with the cousins

Over the New Year's weekend we went to Chicago to have Christmas with Jeff's family. The 7 cousins (all boys) always have such a blast together! The agenda is lots of playing and lots of eating...which makes for a great weekend together!

Snow Day!!!

The winter has been a bummer in that we haven't gotten very much snow...but we have had lots of nice days to play outside all winter long and we have LOVED that! So the first snow we did get, the boys were outside by about 9 am!! They were so excited.
