Riding the Combine

If you know Brennan at all...you will know how much he LOVES tractors!! We aren't sure how this love came about. It certainly wasn't from me!! He has just about every toy tractor possible and spends hours playing with them. He knows all the lingo...gravity wagons, combines, bean heads and corn heads (which he taught me the difference!) and Johnny poppers...just to name a few! He has a favorite book at the library which is in the adult book section that is so big that he can barely carry it, but it has tons of great pictures of all different kinds of tractors. It really has gotten out of control! :) Brennan and his Grampa Lloyd enjoy this special love of tractors together and he loves when Grampa is in town to watch his favorite tractor movie with him.
Jeff"s good friend works at a grain elevator and got Brennan a special ride with a farmer on the combine. They made it very clear that they don't normally do this because so many kids want rides but they like John so much that they allowed it just this once! Brennan loved it!

Thanks John for making that so special for Brennan!!

Celebrations

There is a lot of celebrating the first week of Oct. at our house! Jeff and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on Oct. 6 and on the 7th I turned 32! Jeff and I were excited to be able to go out to dinner ALONE while Gramma and Papa handled all 3 boys at home! Then for my birthday I requested dinner at my favorite pizza place with my VERY favorite people! (minus my dad who couldnt be there because he was coaching football)

what a hoot Chase is...his personality is just awesome!

Gramma Quinn and Brennan enjoying their yummy pizza

5 years with this awesome guy!! I'm so thankful for him!! (and SO thankful to my mom and dad for setting us up!!)

My Growing Boy!

I never believed people when they said, "cherish every moment, they grow up fast!". But now that I have my own kids...they were right! It just amazes me how fast the boys are growing up. I wish I could freeze time. They are all just so fun right now. Well, maybe I will wait and freeze time once Kullen is sleeping through the night!! :) Kullen is now 7 weeks and he is really filling out! Not sure exactly what he weighs, but some where around 12 lbs. He is still just the sweetest, happiest baby! (thank goodness!!)

still looking a lot like his brothers
So serious about watching his animals!!

happy boy (with a bad case of baby acne!)

so in love with these 3 little guys!!
such sweet brothers who were so concerned about Kullen crying

An early Christmas gift!!

After seeing how much Brennan and Chase love to play in our little turtle sandbox, Gramma and Papa Quinn decided to get the boys a bigger sandbox for Christmas. The boys LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Me on the other hand... haven't decided yet! I do in that it keeps them entertained together for a long time...BUT they are such a mess after playing in it that sometimes we go straight to the tub!! :) But I have learned to laugh it off when they have sand stuck in their hair and sand in Chase's diaper!!
The boys were big helpers as Daddy got the grass ready for the sandbox to go down.

Riding with Daddy to go get another load of sand!! It took 17 bags of sand to fill!!

And the first bags of sand get dumped in!! Lots more to fill it!!!
The boys waited so patiently as Daddy continued to dump more and more sand in!

Yeah!! It's finally ready and in no time all their sand toys were in and ready to play!

This little boy is one happy boy now!!

Thank you so much Gramma and Papa Quinn!!! :)

Brennan's first preschool field trip

Brennan started preschool at the end of Aug...which is still hard for me to believe!! He has enjoyed making new friends, doing art projects, playing on the playground, and of course snack time!! It is nice to see his smiling face when I pick him up. In Sept. he had his first field trip to an apple orchard near by. I was excited to be able to go along. (although I don't think he really cared that I was there..he was having too much fun with his friends!)

Brennan had the choice to go home with me or ride the bus with his class back to school! Of course the bus won, hands down! (so independent now...sniff,sniff!) So off his buddy and he ran hand in hand for the bus!

Apple picking at Curtis Orchard

Jeff had been taking the first few Fridays off of work that Kullen was home to help out and enjoy some family time (but mainly to help this mamma out with the adjustment to 3 kids!). So we enjoyed a wonderful day picking apples at one of our favorite places! Brennan had been asking to go apple picking since about the end of July! We all had a blast. First we headed straight to the playground.
Fun in the tunnel.

I think the boys could have played in this for hours!

So cute!!

Of course.. a little tractor driving!

I can't believe how fast Brennan is growing up!
We are heading to the orchard!!

Kullen slept the whole time! Sweet baby boy!

What a good apple picker!!

Brennan got a good apple for our apple crisp we made!!

Just hanging out under the tree! All Chase said the whole time was "ut oh" because the apples were on the ground!!

Off to find more good apples! Love these guys!

Chase enjoyed pulling them off the tree too!

All done!!

Such great buddies!!

And a pretty good family picture to top of the fun day!
