A date with a very special boy!!

What a handsome date I had on a cold, December afternoon!!! Brennan and I had some special time together to ride the train with Santa in Monticello. We had lunch on the train and then anxiously waited for Santa to come around to each boy and girl! Brennan told Santa all the things he wanted for Christmas and Santa asked Brennan to leave him out some chocolate chip cookies and milk on Christmas Eve! (good thing we had some on xmas eve...cause I know sugar cookies weren't going to cut it...we HAD to fill Santa's request!) Brennan, I hope you had as much fun as I did on our special date! I love you tons!!!!!

Fall Fun at Gramma and Papa's House

Jeff and I dropped the older boys off at Gramma and Papa's house for the day while we took Kullen to do some Christmas shopping! I'm pretty sure the boys had a blast and didn't miss us too much! Gramma and Papa's house is always a great time...especially when there are tons of leaves!!

3 months of pure sweetness!!!!

It's hard to believe that Kullen is already 3 months old. I cant even begin to explain what a sweet baby he has been! You just look at him and he lights up with the sweetest smile! He absolutely melts my heart!! I cant believe how much joy he has brough to our lives! He just started sleeping through the night....well, we do have to make at least 2 trips to the room to put the paci in if he fusses but he goes right back to sleep and he is not feeding at all until at least 7 or 7:30. That has been nice!! He is starting to bat at his toys when he lays under his play gym and he loves to watch his brothers play! So far he is the biggest of the 3 boys at this age. He is in the 95 percentile for height and the 75th for weight. He is starting to outgrow the length of some of his 3 month clothes already! We are so blessed to have such sweet, happy, and most importantly, healthy boys!! Kullen Asher we love you so much! You are just perfect in every way!!

Boo at the Zoo

One of our favorite things to do during Halloween is go to Boo at the Zoo! An annual tradition is chilli with great friends to start the night off! The kids love dressing up and seeing all the lights and decorations at the zoo.

The Great Pumpkin Patch

We took our annual family trip to the Great Pumpkin Patch a few weekends ago. It was perfect patch weather...sunny but a little chilly! The boys had a great time and I always enjoy the cute pictures we get from it!

Riding the Combine

If you know Brennan at all...you will know how much he LOVES tractors!! We aren't sure how this love came about. It certainly wasn't from me!! He has just about every toy tractor possible and spends hours playing with them. He knows all the lingo...gravity wagons, combines, bean heads and corn heads (which he taught me the difference!) and Johnny poppers...just to name a few! He has a favorite book at the library which is in the adult book section that is so big that he can barely carry it, but it has tons of great pictures of all different kinds of tractors. It really has gotten out of control! :) Brennan and his Grampa Lloyd enjoy this special love of tractors together and he loves when Grampa is in town to watch his favorite tractor movie with him.

Jeff"s good friend works at a grain elevator and got Brennan a special ride with a farmer on the combine. They made it very clear that they don't normally do this because so many kids want rides but they like John so much that they allowed it just this once! Brennan loved it!

Celebrations

There is a lot of celebrating the first week of Oct. at our house! Jeff and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on Oct. 6 and on the 7th I turned 32! Jeff and I were excited to be able to go out to dinner ALONE while Gramma and Papa handled all 3 boys at home! Then for my birthday I requested dinner at my favorite pizza place with my VERY favorite people! (minus my dad who couldnt be there because he was coaching football)

My Growing Boy!

I never believed people when they said, "cherish every moment, they grow up fast!". But now that I have my own kids...they were right! It just amazes me how fast the boys are growing up. I wish I could freeze time. They are all just so fun right now. Well, maybe I will wait and freeze time once Kullen is sleeping through the night!! :) Kullen is now 7 weeks and he is really filling out! Not sure exactly what he weighs, but some where around 12 lbs. He is still just the sweetest, happiest baby! (thank goodness!!)
